A report on the General Practitioner (GP) Shared Care Project. The report explores GPs' key role in establishing first contact with non-English speaking background patients with mental health problems, along with their corresponding lack of time and specialised skills to undertake such care. It also details a pilot program of partnership between several bilingual GPs and bilingual mental health counsellors.
