Diverting mentally disordered offenders in the NSW Local Court

Section 32 of the Mental Health (Criminal Procedure) Act 1990 enables magistrates in summary proceedings to divert offenders from the criminal justice system and dismiss their charges either unconditionally or conditionally. Diverting mentally disordered offenders from the Local Court examines legal, clinical and systemic issues surrounding the operation of s 32.

The Judicial Commission is unable to accept credit card payments by fax, mail or phone. Only online credit card payments will be accepted.
